The short answer
Several AI tools now run finance mock interviews. Superday AI and MockMe are built around interview practice, IB IQ is mainly a large question bank, and ChatGPT Voice is a general tool you set up yourself, and some universities offer Interview360 free. StreetCred reads your CV for mock interviews and adds Present to the MD (a managing director is a senior banker), a mock case interview on a model you built and had scored.

These prices are not like for like. Some tools sell credits, some sell a subscription or a lifetime plan, ChatGPT is a general subscription, and Interview360 is free where a university provides it. StreetCred's Desk at US$35 per month also includes scored Excel models, and quizzes are free.
When is another tool the better choice?
- You want a full superday simulation or a bank-specific question mix: Superday AI lists a Superday format of about 3 hours and questions it says are based on real interview reports.
- You want to practise in an iPhone app: MockMe and IB IQ are both on the App Store. MockMe also covers consulting, quant and tech.
- You mostly want questions to read and drill: IB IQ lists 2,000+ investment banking interview questions.
- You want free practice on camera through your university: Interview360 records video answers and gives feedback on body language and camera position.
- You already pay for ChatGPT and are happy to write your own prompts: you can talk to ChatGPT Voice in the desktop app and ask it to run a practice interview.
When does StreetCred fit?
- You want to be questioned on a model you built on StreetCred: once your best model score on a case is 80 or more, Present to the MD asks you about the assumptions and modelling decisions behind your own workbook.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best AI mock interview tool for investment banking?
It depends on what you are practising. For a bank-specific or superday-style mock, look at the dedicated interview tools. For a question bank, look at IB IQ. If your interview will test a model you built, StreetCred's Present to the MD is designed for that. Try the free options before you pay.
Can I just use ChatGPT Voice for a mock interview?
You can ask it to, if your plan includes Voice (OpenAI lists it in the desktop app on Plus, Pro, Business, Edu and Enterprise) and you write a good prompt. The questions and feedback depend on what you ask for. Check any technical answer it gives you, because AI feedback can be wrong.
My university offers a free AI interviewer. Do I need anything else?
Start with it, especially for general and on-camera practice. If your university offers Interview360, its pages do not describe finance content, so add a finance-specific tool if you are preparing for finance or modelling questions. You can use both.
What makes StreetCred's AI interviewer different?
